Maggie Mehr CD(DONA), ICCE
For me, there is a bone-deep draw to participate in the powerful, intimate experience of labor and birth. With such an intense milestone, it is incredibly important to me that laboring people and their families feel a sense of empowerment. I want to help you make informed decisions about your birth and to feel a true sense of ownership over body and experience. I strive to create this feeling by maintaining a safe, comforting space both physically and emotionally.
I have a deep commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in my practice. I want to be welcoming and culturally sensitive to all identities and life experiences. I also believe that pregnant people and families of all income levels should have access to labor support services and I will do my best to put that belief into action in my birth support practice.
I have experience with both hospital and home births and medicated and non-medicated birth. I am here to support you in whatever birth you choose or whatever birth unfolds.
